Dua Lipa Announces Summer North American Tour Dates

Dua Lipa has announced she will be touring the U.S. and Canada this summer.

Following the breakout success of her hit “New Rules,” Lipa will set out on a North American tour crisscrossing the two countries, doing small venues and festivals throughout the summer. Tickets will go on sale here this Friday, Feb. 23.

The tour announcement follows the news that Lipa is the youngest female solo artist to reach one billion views on YouTube with the quirky video for “New Rules.” This achievement follows her record-setting five Brit Awards nominations for her acclaimed self-titled debut, the most for a female artist in a single year. Lipa is set to perform at the awards show on Tuesday.

With the recent success of “New Rules” and its follow-up “IDGAF,” Lipa is poised to become the U.K.’s next superstar, so hopefully, she’ll be able to build upon this momentum with her sophomore effort.
