Bruce Springsteen, Jon Bon Jovi Will Perform at Hillary Clinton Rally in Swing State Pennsylvania

Music News Election 2016

Could a plea from The Boss himself convince some of the remaining undecided voters (about 15 percent of the electorate) to vote for Hillary Clinton?

One of Clinton’s last-ditch attempts at a [Don.] trump card has been mobilizing all the star power she can get her hands on. Beyoncé, Jay Z and Chance the Rapper are among those who performed in support of Clinton this week. (Trump reacted by having Ted Nugent perform at his own rally, but then yelling that he didn’t need musicians to draw a crowd.)

The last appearances of Clinton’s celebrity crew will be from Bruce Springsteen and Jon Bon Jovi, who will play tonight at her rally at Independence Hall in Pennsylvania, a key swing state. Bill, Chelsea, the President and the First Lady will also be in attendance.

Springsteen has performed at Democratic nominee rallies for the last three election cycles. Last month he confidently told The New Yorker editor David Remnick that Trump “will not win.” If only the rest of us could sleep as easily, Bruce. Only one more restless night to go.
