FKA Twigs to Release Short Film of Her Performances Titled Soundtrack 7

A feature film will stitch together seven segments of FKA twigs’ performances from her residency at Manchester International Festival last year, per FACT.

The almost-hour-long film, titled Soundtrack 7, is described by twigs (to Brooklyn Vegan) as “flesh, sweat, feeling, muscle, and a live movement, no air brushing, no frills.”

Soundtrack 7 will premiere at BAM Rose Cinemas in Brooklyn on Aug. 3. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with FKA twigs herself. Find tickets here.
