Stream Frankie Cosmos’ New Album, Vessel

New York indie-pop quartet Frankie Cosmos are streaming their new album Vessel in full via Sub Pop’s YouTube channel ahead of its official release on March 30.

Along with videos for the band’s previous tracks “Apathy” and “Being Alive,” the band have also revealed a new video for “Jesse.” In reference to their new video, the band tweeted, “If you like slime, kinetic sand, hot knife, nail art, green screen, paint mixing, haircut asmr, shoes crushing toy cars, etc …. then you will probably hate it or love it.”

Vessel is the band’s first album since they signed to Sub Pop in April 2017 and their first full-length since 2016’s Next Thing, which Paste named one of the best albums of that year. Vessel is the band’s third release and amazingly, it is frontwoman Greta Kline’s 52nd. According to a press release, the 18-track Vessel features several “instrumental first or second-takes, highlighting a newfound collective energy felt by the band’s four members after months of touring, practicing and arranging together.”

The band will embark on their Vessel world tour beginning in April, and they’ve also added new U.S. and European dates in May and June. They will play shows alongside Belle & Sebastian, Perfume Genius, Lomelda, Florist, Lala Lala, Ian Sweet and SOAR.
