Future Announces New Album, Releases “Crushed Up” Music Video

Future has a new, currently untitled lbum on the way, scheduled for release on Jan. 18 via Epic Records/Freebandz Entertainment.

Leading up to the release, Future is releasing a documentary titled The WIZRD on Apple Music. The feature-length documentary will look at his process, opening a “window into his story and creativity.” It will be screened in Los Angeles and New York City before being released on the streamer.

With the announcement of his forthcoming album came its first single, “Crushed Up,” along with a Spike Jordan/Sebastian Sdaigui-directed video. In it, the rapper dances through an abandoned, snow-filled mansion. Check it out down below.

Just last year, Future released mixtapes BEASTMODE 2 and WRLD on Drugs, the latter being a collaboration with Juice WRLD. Prior to this, his last two full-length albums (FUTURE, HNDRXX) were released in 2017 and gave him the unique title of the first artist to have two different albums debut at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 200 in consecutive weeks.
