George Harrison – The Dark Horse Years

In an effort to assemble a first-person chronicle of George Harrison’s solo career from archival interview footage, the producers of this ho-hum DVD ignored the fact that Harrison was legendary for playing it close to the chest. As a result, a slap-dash biographical feature lacks detail and structure, serving neither the uninformed nor the dyed-in-wool. A couple goofy videos for “This Song” and “Crackerbox Palace” (from his 33 1/3 LP) serve as the only true highlights.
