Ibibio Sound Machine Glide Through New Single, “Guess We Found a Way”

Genre-defying, culture-forward previous Paste Best of What’s Next picks Ibibio Sound Machine have released a new single, “Guess We Found a Way,” the fourth from their new album Doko Mien, out March 22 from Merge Records.
Frontwoman Eno Williams said of the fluid new track, “It’s a song about trying to speak to people in words that no-one understands, conveying your feeling with just the music, which is what we try to do in many of our songs.”
In contrast to the infectiously up-tempo singles previously released from the forthcoming album, including “Tell Me (Doko Mien)” and “Wanna Come Down,” the softened “Guess We Found a Way” dissolves and flows through even its tightest of grooves.
