Jeff Tweedy to Release Memoir This Fall

Jeff Tweedy, the songwriter and musician best known as the frontman of Wilco, has written a memoir titled Let’s Go (So We Can Get Back), coming Nov. 13 via Penguin Random House.

Fans of Wilco will be pleased to know Tweedy discusses the band at length in the book, as well as his Illinois childhood, the Chicago music scene and his alt-country band Uncle Tupelo. The book’s subtitle, “A memoir of recording and discording with Wilco, etc.,” is perhaps a nod to one of the band’s biggest hits, “Jesus, etc.” from the equally hit-filled Yankee Hotel Foxtrot. The band’s most recent records were 2016’s Schmilco, and 2017 reissues of A.M. and Being There. For more Wilco anthology, explore our list of their 30 best songs.

You can preorder Tweedy’s book here. Tweedy also has a few more solo tour dates on the docket, which you can find here.
