Jolie Holland – All Those Girls

Spinning her experiences as a traveling musician into a mystifying blend of jazz, country, blues and rock, Jolie Holland has quickly become recognized as a deeply soulful and unique performer. An early collection of songs that drew great appreciation from Tom Waits, among many others, led to a record deal with Anti and a series of beautiful releases that are steeped in the American folk tradition, yet totally modern. In anticipation of her latest album, Pint of Blood, Jolie stopped by the Vault with a couple friends for this exquisite session.
