Kanye West Hospitalized for “Stress And Exhaustion” After Canceling Saint Pablo Tour

Kanye West has been having an increasingly erratic week and, according to initial reports from NBC News and TMZ, the rapper has now been hospitalized.

Along with prematurely ending numerous concerts, West had been making a number of rants during his recent performances, saying he would have voted for Trump if he had voted and railing against longtime friends and collaborators Beyoncé and Jay-Z. The week of outbursts culminated in West canceling the remaining dates on his Saint Pablo Tour.

West was reportedly being checked out by a doctor for “severe sleep deprivation” when someone decided to call the police because he was “acting erratically.” When the police arrived, West was resistant to going to the hospital, but he eventually relented. There was no criminal activity reported and the police were only called in for West’s “own health and safety.” According to the Los Angeles Times, West was treated for “stress and exhaustion” and Kris Jenner, his mother-in-law, was quoted as saying he’s doing “good.”

As of now, West and his camp have not commented on his hospitalization.
