Lee Fields & The Expressions Release New Track, “Make The World,” Announce Tour

Music News Lee Fields & The Expressions

The world often feels like a heartless place these days. In their new track “Make The World”—centering around the line, “We can make the world better if we come together”—Lee Fields & The Expressions are determined to supply that heart themselves. If a red-hot, core-stirring song is what will inspire passive citizens to fight for social and political justice, then Fields is the man for the job.

“I’m hoping [ … that our] song has a chain reaction,” Fields said in a press release. “Helps somebody put into action whatever contribution they can to change what the world is going through.”

Regardless of its political consequences, “Make The World” is a hell of a dance track. It’s got an animated, smooth flow and infectious horn lines. Hey, dancing’s a reliable way to bring folks together.

“Make The World” is the second single off the band’s forthcoming album Special Night, due to be released Nov. 4 via Big Crown Records. Check out the band’s upcoming tour dates and their new track below.
