Hear an Unreleased Leon Bridges Track, “You Don’t Know,” in New Sonos Ads

A new Leon Bridges track called “You Don’t Know,” taken from his forthcoming album Good Thing, debuted in two new ads for the Sonos One smart speaker.

The two ads seek to poke fun at the concept of “smart” voice-enabled speakers as The Sonos One is designed specifically for a better music listening experience. The ads debuted during the season two premiere of Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale last night and feature clips from Bridges’ song, which will be released along with his new album on May 4 via Columbia Records.

“You Don’t Know” is a slick, danceable mashup of retro funk and modern pop with Bridges’ silky-smooth, high-pitched vocals reaching incredible new heights. Bridges previously released three singles from his new LP, “Beyond,” “Bad Bad News” and “Bet Ain’t Worth the Hand.” Good Thing is the follow-up to his successful 2015 debut album Coming Home, which Paste ranked at #9 on our list of the 50 best albums of 2015.

Bridges announced an extensive North American tour in support of Good Thing, including shows in Nashville, Atlanta, Austin, Chicago, Los Angeles, Detroit, Boston and New York. He will be supported by Jon Batiste and Stay Human, singer-songwriter Masego and Texas trio Khruangbin. His headlining tour will begin after he supports Harry Styles in Mexico and South America in May.
