Liam Gallagher Announces North American Tour

On Monday, ex-Oasis band member Liam Gallagher announced his long-awaited return to the U.S. in the form of an upcoming North American tour. The U.K. rocker’s spring run will be in support of his debut album As You Were, and will feature The Verve’s frontman, Richard Ashcroft. Ashcroft will share the stage with Gallagher on all dates of the tour except for the last one on May 18, at the Lincoln Theatre in Washington, D.C., which will be a Gallagher-only performance.

The tour, which a press release describes as “the most exciting double bill of the year,” will kick off its seven-city run at the Masonic Theatre in San Francisco, Calif. Gallagher will also be playing a sold-out show in his native U.K., following his North American run, on Friday, June 29.

As You Were was released on Oct. 6, 2017, via Warner Bros. Records. You can purchase the album in preparation for Gallagher’s U.S. tour via the musician’s website.
