Noise auteurs Lightning Bolt have released the clip for “The Metal East,” one of the many standout tracks from this year’s Fantasy Empire LP. The Lale Westvind-directed video is the stuff of nightmares, with monsters traversing a, ever-shifting technicolor apocalyptic wasteland.
The clip fits the track well, as the legendary duo of Brian Chippendale and Brian Gibson pound out ferocious metal bursts that show in the five-year interim between albums, Lightning Bolt never missed a beat.
