Liz Phair Reveals New Album Title, Set to Embark on Tour

Tuesday, Liz Phair revealed the title of her seventh studio album and first in 10 years since her, well, interesting self-released 2010 album Funstyle. The new album is titled Soberish and is set for release sometime this summer.

Phair also announced a headlining tour for May, just before she goes on tour in support of Alanis Morissette alongside Garbage, a perfect tour for anyone who ever experienced angst at any point during the ‘90s. Morissette’s tour is in honor of the 25th anniversary of her album Jagged Little Pill.

Last year, Phair shared a single called “Good Side,” co-produced by longtime collaborator Brad Wood, and went on a world tour to celebrate the 25th anniversary of her iconic ‘90s rock album Exile in Guyville. She also released a memoir titled Horror Stories, a collection of anecdotes on motherhood, her career and being a musical icon.

You can check out Phair’s upcoming tour dates below. Tickets will be available on Friday, March 6, at noon local time.
