Watch Lord Huron Perform “Never Ever” on The Late Late Show
Photos by Terence Patrick/CBSLord Huron quietly released a rock record this year. Their third studio album, Vide Noir, mostly abandons the band’s token chamber folk for psychedelic rock, and the result is a delightfully spacey, albeit unexpected, shred-fest. On Wednesday, the Ben Schneider-fronted group stopped by The Late Late Show with James Corden to deliver a high-energy performance of Vide Noir track “Never Ever,” a drum-heavy, bass-driven rocker. Watch it unfold below.
Vide Noir was released in April, and since then the group has been on the road. Lord Huron have a few U.S. dates left on the calendar, as well as the entire European leg of their tour. Find those dates here. They also released a new version of their song “The Night We Met” with indie-folk singer Phoebe Bridgers for Netflix’s 13 Reasons Why, which you can check out here.
Seven years ago, we caught Lord Huron at South by Southwest in Austin—check out Paste vault footage of their rollicking performance of “The Problem With Your Daughter” further down below.
