Watch Lord Huron Perform “Wait By The River” on Seth Meyers

Michigan indie-folk rockers Lord Huron performed “Wait By The River” on Wednesday night’s Late Night with Seth Meyers.

“Wait By The River” is taken from their third studio album Vide Noir, which was released last month via Whispering Pines/Republic Records. The album debuted at #4 on the Billboard 200 chart this week, marking the band’s first top-10 album.

The band cleaned up well for their performance last night, channeling a classy jazz band with their matching bow ties, grey suit jackets, and accompaniment of brass and strings.

Frontman and multimedia artist Ben Schneider has created an entire world to inhabit their latest album, which is accompanied by imagery, videos and immersive experiences made to develop the album’s narrative and themes. The band has unveiled Vide Noir tracks at specific geographic locations across the United States, Canada and the U.K. in order to create a fully functional world to accompany the album. You can check it out here.

In support of their new album, the band are playing a U.S. headlining tour in some of their largest venues to date, including shows in New York City, Oakland and Seattle. Every pair of tickets ordered for their U.S. tour includes a copy of Vide Noir.
