Mac DeMarco announced on Instagram that his follow-up to 2015’s Another One is finished.
DeMarco posted a video of him popping a bottle of champagne with a new track playing in the background, along with the caption, “#that’s a #wrap. Just finished #Mixin the new #disc. Time for some #champers.”
A known fanatic when it comes to Star Wars, DeMarco also paid tribute to Carrie Fisher, adding, “RIP Carrie, I’ll never forget ya, god bless.”
There’s no word yet on what DeMarco’s new album’s called or when to expect it, but presumably it’s coming sometime relatively soon. See his Instagram post embedded below, and beneath that, find Paste Cloud audio from a 2013 DeMarco show.
