Listen to Ryan Hemsworth, Mitski and Keaton Henson’s Beautiful New Single, “Wait”

Canadian DJ Ryan Hemsworth collaborated with rock star Mitski and shy British folk singer Keaton Henson to create a new single titled “Wait” for the seventh part of Adult Swim’s Singles Series. In “Wait,” Mitski and Henson’s soft, hypnotic voices are layered over a calm, atmospheric mix created by Hemsworth.

“I’ve been working on little ideas with Keaton for a while,” Hemsworth told Paper Magazine. “But once I had the chance to get Mitski involved as well it made complete sense to me. They’re easily two of my favorite singers so it was really inspiring to work on this one together.”

Last year, Hemsworth worked with Mitski and remixed her song, “Francis Forever.” Other songs in the Adult Swim series include tracks by DJ Paypal, DAWN, VHÖL, Clark, Sannhet and Thelonius Martin. Songs by Run the Jewels, Earl Sweatshirt with KNX, Flying Lotus, Mica Levi, Rae Sremmurd, Jlin and others will also later appear in the series.
