Paste Best of What’s Next picks NE-HI have a new album, Offers, out at the end of month and to promote their sophomore release, the band’s shared new single “Sisters.”
An unassuming slice of psychedelically tinged garage rock, “Sisters” casually details convos on payphones and peers selling you short. The band repeatedly insist “it’s okay” over chiming guitars and staccato drum strikes, reassuring themselves as much as the listeners. Someone thinking you’re wrong doesn’t matter quite as much as what you believe.
Offers is out Feb. 24 through Grand Jury and available for preorder here. The band’s going on a lengthy U.S. tour, starting this Friday, to promote the album—find those dates and “Sisters” below, plus the video for Offers’ title track here.
