Paste Studio Sampler #2 Features Matthew Sweet, Angie McMahon, Seratones & James

Each month, dozens of bands stop by the Paste Studio in New York to play three or four songs in an intimate setting in front of a live internet audience. And each month, we collect some of our favorite performances on The Paste Studio Sampler. Our second sampler highlights the best of July, 10 amazing tracks, which are free to stream or download via our new NoiseTrade platform.

The latest sampler kicks off with some delicious garage rock from Atlanta’s own Gringo Starr, followed by a gorgeous ballad from Australian singer/songwriter Angie McMahon, who just wowed audiences at the Newport Folk Fest.

The sampler features veterans like Canadian singer/songwriter/guitar virtuoso Bruce Cockburn and Gold Record-selling artists Matthew Sweet and James alongside up-and-comers like Riah and Kate Tempest.

The music is varied from the soulful guitar rock of Black Pumas and Seratones to the chill electronic vibes of Sarah Jaffe, Riah and Kate Tempest.

Check out the full Paste Studio performances here, on our YouTube channel or via our podcast, and don’t forget to peruse the July 2019 Paste Sampler tracklist and album art below.
