Fellow L.A. native Phoebe Bridgers joined them onstage as a special guest. Together, they performed an ethereal rendition of “The Night We Met,” one of the band’s most renowned tracks and the closing song off their 2015 LP, Strange Trails.
In fan-shot footage, Bridgers and Lord Huron frontman Ben Schneider harmonize with lush vocals as they showcase the track’s nostalgic lyrics. Lord Huron’s signature acoustic fingerpicking and backing vocals can be heard as delicate disco lights swirl around the famous L.A. outdoor venue.
Shakey Graves and Yola played sets earlier that night, as well, treating the audience to a night of emotive indie-folk and Americana.
Bridgers previously recorded the beloved fan-favorite song with Lord Huron last year. It was featured on the 13 Reasons Why soundtrack for its second season. You can hear it here.
