A new Prince album is coming out this August

Prince may have passed a decade ago, but his music will never die. The late musician’s estate announced today that ten new Prince songs will be released on August 28 as Timeless, a posthumous record pulled from his fabled vault of unreleased recordings. With recordings spanning from 1977 (“I Am You”) to 2016 (a live version of “How Come You Don’t Call Me Anymore?”), the album will be the first to house every era of his career: prodigious Minneapolis upstart to beloved, larger-than-life icon.

We got our first taste of Timeless yesterday with “Stone,” a 1995 track that’s now available to stream. But Minneapolis, fittingly, gets the first look at the whole album, as this year’s annual Prince Celebration is hosting exclusive listening sessions. The rest of us, though, will just have to wait a little bit longer. See the Timeless tracklist and listen to “Stone” below.

Timeless tracklist:
“I Am You” (1977)
“Tick Tick Bang” (1981)
“Heaven” (1985)
“I Wonder” (1989)
“With This Tear” (1991)
“Stone” (1995)
“Calabama” (2003)
“The Guilty Ones” (2007)
“Bestest Friend” (2012)
“How Come You Don’t Call Me Anymore? (Live)” (2016)
