Hear Roxy Music Perform in London on This Day in 1975

Bryan Ferry may have been turned down as Greg Lake’s replacement in King Crimson, but he went on to form one of the best bands of the ’70s—Roxy Music. Ferry’s art pop and glam rock outfit were firing on all cylinders and in the prime of their career by 1975. They had just released their fifth studio album, Siren, and they had been touring for so long that it prompted a four-year studio and live hiatus.
During that 1975 tour (their third in five years), Roxy Music made a stop at London’s famous Wembley Stadium to perform a short set. The setlist included the title track from their 1973 album For Your Pleasure and their recent Siren single “Both Ends Burning.” Despite their relentless tour schedule, Ferry and co. appear as exuberant and saucy as ever in this performance.
