Sam Smith Announces New Album The Thrill Of It All

Sam Smith has announced his new album, The Thrill Of It All.

The announcement is accompanied by Smith’s new, Timbaland-produced single, “Pray.” A gospel-inspired song, the album’s distributor Capitol hopes “Pray” will achieve the same global success as the first single off the album, “Too Good at Goodbyes.”

Timbaland isn’t the only guest artist to feature on Smith’s new album. Per a press release:

The Thrill Of It All finds Smith once again working alongside close friend and long-time collaborator Jimmy Napes plus Timbaland, Malay, Jason “Poo Bear” Boyd and Stargate. He also collaborates with the unsigned artist YEBBA on the song “No Peace.”

Smith will go on tour in 2018 to promote the album, as it’s his first record since 2014’s In The Lonely Hour. The general public can purchase tickets to the tour starting Oct. 12 at 10 a.m. local time. Fans will be given a special 24-hour window to buy tickets earlier, starting Oct. 11 on Smith’s website. You can find his tour dates below. Smith will also appear on SNL this Saturday, Oct. 7, making his third appearance on the Studio 8H stage.
