Shovels & Rope to Curate New Music Fest, High Water Festival

Music News Shovels & Rope

The beloved husband and wife duo known as Shovels & Rope have announced their latest endeavor: The High Water Festival.

The inaugural music festival will be held in Charleston, S.C., on April 22-23, 2017, and is being curated by the duo, who met in Charleston while in college. Their love and appreciation for the city helped inspire this festival, which a press release describes as “A celebration of music, food, and libations.” The duo says, “This festival is a chance for us to have some fun and show people a good time in our own backyard.”

Tickets go on sale Friday, Nov. 18 at 10 a.m. EST. There is an early-bird discount at $99 for a two-day pass (while supplies last), moving to $119 and $274 for VIP passes. For purchasing information, visit the festival website here. A portion of the proceeds will benefit The Green Heart Project, Charleston Waterkeeper and Water Mission.
