At the beginning of 2019, the chances of Chris and Rich Robinson reuniting seemed as likely as those of Liam and Noel Gallagher—that’s to say, very unlikely. But rock ‘n’ roll is a funny thing, so here we are: Early last month, the Robinson brothers announced their reunion—and a Black Crowes world tour to match.

Robinson described his excitement in a press statement, courtesy of Live Nation: “I’m thrilled & blessed to be playing with my brother celebrating the music we’ve made & bringing our lives together full circle. Long live Rock n’ Roll & The Black Crowes!”

Long live, indeed! The upcoming tour, which will take the band across the U.S. and Canada, will commemorate the 30th anniversary of the blues/rock band’s debut album, Shake Your Money Maker, which arrived Feb. 13, 1990. The tour kicks off June 17, 2020, in Austin, Texas. Find the full list of dates—and purchase tickets—right here.

On this day (Dec. 5) in 1990, The Black Crowes played a show at Trax in Charlottesville, Va., following months of hype surrounding their debut album. The band, which formed in Atlanta, Ga., the year prior, found considerable success that year with a pair of singles—“Hard to Handle” and “She Talks To Angels”—both of which they play during this colorful set.
