In January, The Gaslight Anthem announced ten tour dates for this summer in celebration of the tenth anniversary of their album The ‘59 Sound, which we featured on our list of the 25 best punk albums of the 2000s. Prior to this tour, the band had last performed together almost three years ago at Reading Festival in the U.K., but now they’ve been selling out shows and in some cases adding dates due to high demand.
The still very date-limited tour has just added shows in three new cities: Boston, Philadelphia and Asbury Park in the band’s home state of New Jersey. Tickets will go on sale Friday, June 8 at 12 p.m. ET, and presale begins tomorrow, June 5. At each show on the tenth anniversary tour, The Gaslight Anthem will be playing The ‘59 Sound in its entirety.
Excited to finally announce some more of our east coast dates with shows in Boston, Philadelphia, and Asbury Park, NJ. Presale begins tomorrow with password “59SOUND” with all remaining tickets on sale Friday at noon local time pic.twitter.com/V0isjlDHix
