Listen to The Raconteurs’ Lively, Ambitious New Single “Bored and Razed”

Ahead of their comeback album Help Us Stranger, The Raconteurs have released another new single, “Bored and Razed.”

High-energy, the single opens the album, and finds Jack White and Brendan Benson vocally charged and ambitious. The track opens with a simple guitar riff that, over the first 30 seconds of the song, builds into a full-blown intro that’s anthemic as ever. Between the exquisite guitar playing and the powerhouse vocals, the Detroit-born band’s new song has an explosion of everything right in rock ‘n’ roll music.

The track is the latest single from the band’s forthcoming album Help Us Stranger, and follows “Help Me Stranger,” their cover of Donovan’s “Hey Gyp (Dig the Slowness),” “Sunday Driver” and “Now That You’re Gone.”

Out June 21 via Third Man Records, Help Us Stranger is the band’s first album since their 2008 release Consolers Of The Lonely. To support the album, the band is setting out on a world tour and making stops at festivals such as Railbird Festival, Riot Fest and Austin City Limits Music Festival.
