The xx have released their video for “I Dare You,” featuring a star-studded cast of well-dressed teenagers.
The video was directed by Alasdair McLellan, who also directed their last two videos “On Hold” and “Say Something Loving.” It was made in collaboration with Calvin Klein CEO Raf Simons.
Millie Bobby Brown of Stranger Things, Moonlight’s Ashton Sanders, Paris Jackson, and Calvin Klein models Ernesto Cervantes and Lulu star in the video as infatuated teenagers skipping school who somehow happen upon a private performance from The xx.
In the description, the trio called the video “our love letter to Los Angeles,” noting that they wrote and recorded parts of their recent album I See You in the city. The album made our list of the year’s best (so far).
