Michelle Obama Appears in Her First TV Ads for Hillary Clinton

Michelle Obama appeared in her first televised campaign ad for Hillary Clinton, appealing to one of the First Lady’s well-known important issues: the nation’s children.

In the ad, Obama says: “Hillary will be a president our kids can look up to. A president who believes in our kids and will fight for them every day. That’s why I believe in her.”

The Clinton camp has used the emotional appeal of “thinking of the children” quite effectively in this campaign, underlining the bad influence that is perpetuated by pretty much anything Donald Trump does or says.

The 30-second TV spot came out alongside a radio ad that is already on the air in Florida, North Carolina, Ohio and Pennsylvania. The ad ends by directing viewers to IWillVote.com, a voter registration website backed by the DNC.

The much-adored First Lady will appear in Pennsylvania today to campaign for Clinton. Obama will be a good endorsement for Clinton, given the presidential nominee’s difficulty in garnering fervent favorability beyond simply not being Trump.
