Robert Mueller Preparing to Reveal Key Findings in His Russia Probe: Report

Special Counsel Robert Mueller is gearing up to announce the Russia probe’s key findings, per a Bloomberg report. Over the course of the probe, which began last year, Mueller and his team have looked for evidence of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election, as well as possible collusion or obstruction of justice on Trump’s part.

Thus far, Mueller has racked up 35 indictments and plea deals, including persons close to Trump and who worked on his campaign, several of whom have even cooperated with Mueller’s investigation.

Mueller is looking to release this new information sometime after the midterms. Unfortunately, it’s unclear whether the public will actually see those findings—that’s up to Mueller’s boss, Rod Rosenstein. With the overwhelming amount of help he’s gotten from Trump’s allies, though, this news could be huge. That’s important for Mueller now, as he faces pressure to either come forward with major findings or shut his operation down.
