The spectacle was not unlike what was seen during Liverpool’s title challenge near the end of the 2013-14 campaign. When they have something to cheer about, Liverpool supporters put on displays unlike anything else seen in England.
The game, of course, ended up being one of the most thrilling games at Anfield in a long time, as Liverpool fought back from a two goal deficit twice to snatch a 4-3 win in stoppage time. They’ll face Villareal in the semifinals.
