Apparently Japanese youth soccer’s #brand is built around jaw-dropping spectacle.
Following on from that Puskás-worthy goal we shared back in November, we bring you this display of Free Kick shenanigans, courtesy of East Fukuoka High School.
The routine was a highly-choreographed dance involving a second wall, tightly coordinated movement, and old-fashioned trickery. Even if it didn’t work, this would’ve been fun to watch. As it is, East Fukuoka got their goal.
I don’t know what’s going on in Japanese soccer but I think I like it.
