Big Little Lies will cure your Valentine’s Day blues. HBO has announced that the highly anticipated miniseries will premiere on Feb. 19., 2017 at 9 p.m. EST. Jean-Marc Vallée (Wild) directed all seven episodes of the series, which was created and written by David E. Kelley (Ally McBeal).
The miniseries is based on Liane Moriarty’s bestselling book of the same name, and stars Reese Witherspoon, Shailene Woodley and Nicole Kidman as a trio of mothers of first graders whose lives gradually unravel.
If the show’s first teaser is any indication, this comedy-drama hybrid will bring us sex, murder and plenty of intrigue. Big Little Lies also stars Alexander Skarsgard, Laura Dern, Zoe Kravitz and James Tupper. Get excited.
