The already-infamous closing scene of last night’s The Walking Dead season six finale is now available online, and we’d slap a spoiler warning on the clip above if it wasn’t so damn inconclusive.
There are maybe two reasons to re-watch Negan’s toying with Rick Grimes and his squad. For one, you might want to study the tape painfully closely, seeing if you can determine the order in which he’s pointing at people in his death game so that you don’t have to wait until next season to find out who met the business end of Lucille. Eeny Meeny Miny Moe, after all, isn’t a random game—at least, not the way that it’s usually played. Then again, maybe the scene’s dizzying camerawork isn’t just trying to fool us: maybe Negan is just pointing at people pell-mell.
