Thankfully, this episode gives us immediate resolution to last week’s cliffhanger. As Claire makes her way to speak with the English officers, she has Dougal in tow. However, the tables are turned on Dougal, as he is now the outlander in an English environment.
Everything is going well until Captain ‘Black’ Jack Randall enters into the interrogation. He does nothing to hide his evil in this episode. While Claire is the victim of his wickedness, Dougal rushes to the rescue.
