Sherlock Goes Victorian in Clip From Christmas Special

Sherlock wearing a deerstalker! Watson referencing The Hound of the Baskervilles! Everyone in Victorian get-up! Check out the clip above for a sneak preview of the Sherlock Christmas special, which will be coming to theaters this December along with British TV, per show runner Steven Moffatt. As we wait for season four of the BBC drama, perhaps indefinitely, this is a nice little tide-you-over. When that season comes, though, Moffatt said that it will “suckerpunch you into emotional devastation.” One other interesting tidbit: Moffatt and the other creators liked this episode so much that they briefly considered moving forward with the show as a Victorian period piece.
