Watch Stranger Things Kids Kick Ass On Lip Sync Battle
Photos Courtesy of SpikeFor Stranger Things enthusiasts, the suspense for the show’s return is getting to be a tad unbearable. The Netflix series is making its fans wait over a year for a second season, which promises new characters, a deeper look into the Upside Down and #JusticeforBarb (at least we hope). To tide us over, the squad from Hawkins Middle made an appearance on Spike’s Lip Sync Battle to rock out and remind us how damn lovable they are.
Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas), Finn Wolfhard (Mike) and Noah Schnapp (Will) all took the stage to perform their respective songs on the LL Cool J-hosted show. Matarazzo gave a prop-heavy performance of Train’s “50 Ways to Say Goodbye,” and Schnapp showed us his best Mick with Maroon 5’s “Moves Like Jagger.” Wolfhard, who was pulled onstage to perform with Mac DeMarco at an Atlanta show earlier this week, gave an energetic performance of “Buddy Holly” that would make Weezer proud. However, it was McLaughlin who stole the spotlight with a dope take on Cool J’s “I’m Bad,” complete with gyrations and gold chains.
Season two of Stranger Things will be released via Netflix on Halloween. You can watch all of the kid’s performances below.
