All members of Team Jacob are about to become Scream Queens fans. Twilight alum Taylor Lautner is taking a lead role in the second season of the Fox horror comedy, per Deadline.
Scream Queens star Emma Roberts’ faith was not in vain when she said to E News last month, “I know that if Ryan Murphy does one thing well it’s casting amazing, talented and really hot people. He always casts the cutest boys!”
The setting of season two will be a hospital full of peculiar cases, with the Chanels studying to become doctors. Lautner will be playing the absurdly named Dr. Cassidy Cascade, who suffers an unusual affliction (wonder if it’s of the fur-sprouting, tail-growing nature…) and is suspected to be sinister following a string of gory incidents.
Also new to Scream Queens this coming season is John Stamos, who will be playing a surgeon. Returning and reprising their roles from season one are Roberts, Jamie Lee Curtis, Lea Michele, Abigail Breslin, Keke Palmer, Glen Powell and Niecy Nash.
Scream Queens, which was created by Murphy, Ian Brennan and Brad Falchuk, will return to Fox on Sept. 20.
