Daniel Radcliffe Joins Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt Interactive Special

Daniel Radcliffe is the latest to join Netflix’s forthcoming Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt interactive special.

Set to debut in 2020, the special will be the last installment in the Kimmy Schmidt saga since the series rounded out its fourth and final season in January.

In addition to Radcliffe, the special will also welcome back its core cast of Ellie Kemper as the series’ titular lionheart, Tituss Burgess, Jane Krakowski and Carol Kane.

Although the platform has kept plot details under wraps, it revealed its first comedic choose-your-own-adventure special will span three states and hinted towards the return of Jon Hamm’s formidable Reverend character.

The platform’s official statement also announced the viewer is in danger of waging a war against robots or encountering dancing hamburgers. Well—what about wizards?

The show, created and executive produced by Tina Fey and Robert Carlock, has received critical acclaim since its debut on the streaming platform in 2015. The show has been nominated for 18 Primetime Emmy Awards.

The Kimmy Schmidt special marks the platform’s further venture into interactive content after releasing Black Mirror’s Bandersnatch in 2018. Among other original interactive titles in Netflix’s repertoire are Bear Grylls’ You vs. Wild and Minecraft: Story Mode.

Stay tuned for further updates on the production. You can revisit our 2015 chat with Kemper here and answer our burning question below:

Will Daniel Radcliffe be able to escape the Harry Potter treatment in the interactive special?
