UnREAL Season Three Delayed Until 2018

UnREAL star Constance Zimmer, who plays the steely and unforgiving Quinn King, posted a photo on Twitter Sunday night with a caption announcing the Lifetime series will not return until 2018.

According to the caption, the third season will air in the spring of 2018, despite filming for the season wrapping up in May. The picture also gives fans a look at the effulgence of series leads Zimmer and Shiri Appleby, who plays Rachel Goldberg, at a wine tasting in Malibu.

The delay comes after a rocky second season that triggered the hiring of a new showrunner, Stacy Rukeyser, for the third season. The first season was a critical and ratings success, and introduced the world to what is apparently a very real behind-the-scenes look at reality television.

Season three will revolve around Everlasting’s first female “suitress,” played by Caitlin FitzGerald (Masters of Sex).
