Paramount to Option Laini Taylor's Daughter Of Smoke and Bone
Paramount Pictures is in talks with young-adult fiction author Laini Taylor to acquire the rights to Taylor's Daughter of Smoke and Bone, the first book of a planned trilogy that was released just this passed September. Taylor has written a few successful young adult novels before, particularly the Dreamdark series (two so far) and 2009's Lips Touch: Three Times for which she was a National Book Award finalist. read more
