A little less than two months before its release, another trailer has dropped for Nacho Vigalondo’s Colossal (via Yahoo Movies).
Twice as long as the last trailer, this new one provides a bit more exposition about Gloria’s (Anne Hathaway) struggles, most notably being that she’s been unemployed for a year, recently dumped and has been forced to endure the shame of moving back to her small hometown. The new footage also introduces us to her now ex-boyfriend Tim, played by Dan Stevens (Legion, Beauty and the Beast). We get another look at Gloria and her mysteriously connected Kaiju dancing, as well as a bit more commentary from her friends, played by Jason Sudeikis and Tim Blake Nelson.
Go ahead and check out the new trailer above, then take a look at last month’s trailer here, along with more info about the film and director. Colossal comes stomping into theaters on April 7.
