Watch Bill Murray Croon Bob Dylan’s “Shelter From the Storm”

Spoilers for the end credits of upcoming comedy St. Vincent: Bill Murray is alive, stammering along with a classic Dylan song on his Walkman, drowning the corpse of a dead houseplant and neither Thanos nor Howard the Duck are anywhere to be found.

Technically Murray is in-character here as the titular codger Vincent, but you have to imagine that the clip isn’t far removed from an actual afternoon with the man himself. The rest of the movie is a heartstring-plucker about a grumpy crank’s budding friendship with a young boy, rather than a 2-hour backyard concert film. The world seems less bright without a Murray cover of “Desolation Row,” but for now we’ll have to settle for the video above.
