Showtime’s Desus & Mero Gets a New Teaser, Premiere Date

The brand is undefeated.

Beloved Bronx-raised comedy duo Desus Nice and The Kid Mero have announced the premiere date for Desus & Mero, their forthcoming weekly late-night talk show for Showtime, and they have a new teaser to share the big news.

“What’s up America? I’m Ray Donovan, and this is my friend Billions,” says Desus (Daniel Baker) in the video announcing his and The Kid Mero’s (Joel Martinez) return, poking fun at their new television home. In June, they left Viceland, where they hosted a weeknight show, also titled Desus & Mero, in order to front Showtime’s first-ever late-night talk show.

Showtime’s Desus & Mero premieres on Thursday, Feb. 21, 2019, at 11 p.m. ET/PT, with future episodes airing weekly on Thursday nights from New York City.
