Kit Harington, Emma Stone to Host SNL in April

Following on the heels of their recent announcement that Golden Globe winner Sandra Oh (Killing Eve) would host Saturday Night Live for the first time alongside musical guests Tame Impala (also making their SNL debut), NBC has revealed another couple of host/musical guest pairings to follow in April.

Game of Thrones star Kit Harington will host the show’s April 6 episode, with musical guest Sara Bareilles—both are also SNL first-timers. Harington is, of course, plugging the eighth and final season of HBO’s blockbuster of a TV series (plus How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World, now in theaters), while the Grammy-, Tony- and Emmy Award-nominated Bareilles has a new album, Amidst the Chaos, arriving April 5, as well as Waitress, the musical to which she contributed original music and lyrics, currently running on Broadway and London’s West End.

SNL veteran Emma Stone returns for her fourth hosting stint on April 13, promoting only an Omaze charity campaign, alongside South Korean boy band sensation BTS in their first musical guest appearance on SNL. If you haven’t seen Stone in The Favourite, correct that as soon as possible, if not sooner—the Oscar winner can next be seen in Zombieland: Double Tap and Cruella, in which she’ll star as iconic Disney villain Cruella De Vil. BTS will release their new album Map of the Soul: Persona on April 12, ahead of their “Love Yourself: Speak Yourself” world tour.
