What A Joke Comedy Fest to Raise Money for ACLU During Trump Inauguration

Comedians are striking back. In response to the threats against human rights by President-Elect Donald Trump, comedians in more than 20 cities across the country are coordinating shows to raise money for the ACLU. The What A Joke Comedy Fest will take place on Inauguration Day weekend, Jan. 19-21, and was organized by New York comedians Jenn Welch and Emily Winter.
The shows are set to start in New York City on Thursday, Jan. 19, and continue throughout the weekend. The Thursday show will be at The Stand, the Friday show will be at The Annoyance Theater, and the Saturday show will be at Rough Trade.
