Life is Strange Goes From the Screen to the Page With New Comic Series

Life is Strange fans, rejoice: The title will return as a comic book series via Titan Comics, as Gamespot reports.

After Life is Strange: Before the Storm concluded earlier this March, many fans thought that was it for their favorite Arcadia Bay inhabitants. Those thoughts have been quelled, as Square Enix has teamed up with the comic giant to continue Blackwell Academy’s story. Launching with a four-part series later this year, Titan Comics’ Life Is Strange will return readers to the world of Arcadia Bay, offering fans of the game the opportunity to revisit beloved characters and settings.

Aside from the announcement, details about the comics are scarce—it’s unclear who will write and illustrate the series. Titan did, however, tease that they and and Square Enix would soon release more details via their official Tumblr.

Since its release in 2015, the Life is Strange series has become a gaming phenomenon, selling over three million copies and accumulating 75 games awards and accolades. The series gained acclaim for its character development, themes, story and time-rewind mechanics.

With this new comic continuation, fans of the Life is Strange games will be able to follow their favorite characters once more. Until more information is released, fans will have to make do with the teaser tweet embedded below.
