Knife Fight: Sabering Your Beer

Sure, you can use a bottle opener to crack that beer, or you could use a machete. “Sabering” is a long standing tradition in opening bottles of Champagne (there’s nothing more festive than drawing your blade to cut off the cork of some bubbly). You can do it with corked beer too. The American Homebrewers Association has whipped up this fun video that shows a sabering duel on the roof tops of Boulder, Colorado. It’s silly. Enjoy.
